This week our third installment of our Helix how it was made video series covers the steps I take to make the matching headstock veneer, cutting and shaping and installation of the twelfth fret mother of pearl inlay and fretting the neck. Some of these steps are highly condensed because lets face it, as fascinating as it may be for some of you to watch a guitar being built, watching me spend an hour cutting out a custom piece inlay or filing the hell out of fret ends and radiating a fretboard can get a bit redundant.
